In recent years, military conflicts, including the confrontation between Iran and the US and Israel, have clearly demonstrated that unmanned aerial vehicles have become a key tool both for delivering strikes and for managing modern combat operations.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in a video material by Baku TV.

In Ukraine, unmanned systems are used not only for attacks but are also actively employed in reconnaissance, artillery fire adjustment, and operation coordination. In the Middle East, in turn, the strategy of mass deployment of Iranian kamikaze drones is aimed at exhausting and weakening air defense systems.

The practical implementation of this new model of warfare was first carried out by Azerbaijan. During the Second Karabakh War, the Azerbaijani army extensively and systematically used UAVs, which significantly changed the course of the confrontation. It was not simply about a technological advantage, but about a fundamental transformation of the very concept of war.

The key distinction of the model employed by Azerbaijan was that drones were used not in isolation, but as elements of a unified, coordinated system.
