The concept "Culture of Azerbaijan - 2040" has been approved

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed an order on the approval of the "Concept of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan "Culture of Azerbaijan - 2040".

As reported by BAKU.WS, the document states:

"Guided by points 3 and 32 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in order to create a modern model of culture ensuring the protection of national and spiritual values in the Republic of Azerbaijan, ensuring systematic and sustainable development in the sphere of culture, I decree:

1. To approve the "Concept of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan "Culture of Azerbaijan - 2040" (hereinafter - the Concept).

2. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall:

2.1. coordinate the measures provided for in the Concept;

2.2. inform the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan once a year about the status of implementation of measures provided for in the Concept;

2.3. resolve other issues arising from this Order.

3. Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of measures provided for in the Concept shall be carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication on the basis of the request of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

4. The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall resolve issues arising from this order".
