The authority to control the export of weapons and strategic materials may be removed from the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan.
As Oxu.Az reports, this issue was reflected in the draft amendments to the law "On Defense," which was discussed at today's session of the Milli Majlis Committee on Labor and Social Policy.
According to the draft law, it is proposed to remove the specified authorities from the Cabinet of Ministers.
In accordance with the current legislation, the Cabinet of Ministers organizes control over the export of weapons and strategic materials.
