Tactical exercises with live firing were conducted in the Azerbaijani army

In accordance with the preparation plan for 2025, tactical exercises were held in the Azerbaijani army, conducted using a new operational concept taking into account modern combat methods and adapted to real combat conditions.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

Minister of Defense Colonel General Zakir Hasanov and other representatives of the leadership observed the progress of the exercises with live fire.

The head of the department was informed that unmanned aerial vehicles of various purposes involved in the maneuvers are conducting terrain reconnaissance, promptly transmitting data to the combat control center about the location of targets of the simulated enemy and the movement of armored vehicles.

According to the exercise scenario, before the offensive, artillery units and aviation assets struck at the concentrated reserves and manpower of the simulated enemy, ensuring the opening of passages through minefields. During the maneuvers, actions were performed to evacuate personnel by helicopters, lure the simulated enemy's column into an ambush and neutralize it, as well as capture strongholds.

Note that the purpose of the tactical exercises was to improve the skills of commanders in making operational decisions in accordance with the new operational concept developed taking into account modern methods of combat, as well as the ability to manage units in cooperation, improving their theoretical and practical skills.
