Speaker of the Pakistan Senate expressed concern over Iranian drone attacks on Azerbaijan

Speaker of the Senate (upper house of parliament) of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, in a telephone conversation with the Chairwoman of the Milli Majlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova, expressed concern over Iranian drone strikes on Nakhchivan.

During the telephone conversation, processes in the region were discussed. Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani expressed concern over Iranian drone attacks against Azerbaijan and stated that he condemns them. He noted that Pakistan always supports Azerbaijan.

Chairwoman of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova expressed gratitude for the support and solidarity.

During the conversation, an exchange of views also took place regarding the further deepening of inter-parliamentary cooperation against the backdrop of the tense situation in the world.
