SOCAR signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Uzbekneftegaz on AI solutions

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" signed a Memorandum of Understanding on developing cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence application in the oil and gas industry.

According to the information, the cooperation includes the acquisition of artificial intelligence solutions developed by SOCAR, exchange of experience and specialists, digital transformation of SOCAR, digitalization of production processes and improvement of their efficiency, as well as provision of consulting services in the field of information technologies.

Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties plan to develop projects based on artificial intelligence aimed at increasing diesel fuel production by optimizing blending parameters, a Large Language Model (LLM) supporting the work of operational groups, as well as Seismic AI and ENOM solutions aimed at automating the analysis of geological and energy data. Additionally, SOCAR will provide consulting support for the ODLAR and Daily Drilling projects, ensuring the creation of a unified data architecture that integrates all company business processes, as well as complete digitalization and visualization of seismic and drilling data.

The Memorandum of Understanding will contribute to the development of artificial intelligence technologies in the oil and gas industry. This cooperation will promote not only the application of innovative approaches in the energy sector but also further strengthen economic cooperation and technological partnership between the two countries.
