Siyavush Novruzov: Azerbaijan is one step away from signing a peace treaty with Armenia

Today Azerbaijan is just one step away from concluding a peace treaty with Yerevan, but only one problem stands in the way - the constitution of Armenia.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by the chairman of the Milli Mejlis committee on regional issues Siyavush Novruzov at a conference in parliament dedicated to State Sovereignty Day. The event is being held as part of the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty".
According to the deputy, Armenia in its time made a reactionary step by enshrining territorial claims [against Azerbaijan] in its constitution, which today is the main obstacle to peace.
"The abolition of this provision is the main condition for achieving peace," emphasized S. Novruzov.
