Shavkat Mirziyoyev: Uzbekistan is always by Azerbaijan's side

On March 5, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev called President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAC, Shavkat Mirziyoyev strongly condemned Iran's attacks against Azerbaijan using unmanned aerial vehicles, expressed Uzbekistan's full support for Azerbaijan, and emphasized that his country always stands by Azerbaijan.

President Ilham Aliyev thanked the President of Uzbekistan for the phone call and the support shown.

The head of our state informed about the incident that had occurred, noting that the situation is currently under full control.

During the phone conversation, prospects for the further development of friendly, brotherly, and allied relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan were discussed.

The heads of state once again confirmed that Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will continue to constantly support each other going forward.
