Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed creating an Uzbek-Azerbaijani transport corridor
Uzbekistan is interested in creating a separate Uzbek-Azerbaijani transport corridor with a single operator on the Caspian Sea.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 3rd session of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Interstate Council.
"Serious tasks lie ahead for our ministers of transport. As part of the development of the Middle Corridor, we need to accelerate the launch of a joint fleet on the Caspian Sea. We also discussed this in a narrow circle with Ilham Heydarovich. We need to speed up this process. We are also interested in creating a separate Uzbek-Azerbaijani corridor with a single operator on the Caspian Sea," Mirziyoyev stated.
