Shavkat Mirziyoyev: Azerbaijan's joining the format of consultative meetings opens a historic opportunity

Azerbaijan's accession to the format of consultative meetings of Central Asian heads of state elevates our interaction to a qualitatively new macro-regional level.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, speaking at an informal meeting of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Central Asian countries in the Kyrgyz city of Cholpon-Ata.

"A historic opportunity opens before us to form a unified development space uniting Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and our close neighbor - Afghanistan. We must fully seize this moment and through joint efforts lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of interconnectedness and good neighborliness in the very heart of Eurasia," noted the President of Uzbekistan.
