Shahin Mustafayev: The Zangezur corridor will closely connect Nakhchivan with other regions of Azerbaijan

The Zangezur corridor will become a key factor for closer integration of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with other regions of Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, this was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev at a special meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to President Ilham Aliyev's visit to the USA.

Mustafayev emphasized that one of the most important aspects of the agreements reached in Washington is ensuring unhindered communication with the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

"This agreement will contribute to closer integration of the NAR with other regions of Azerbaijan. The road through Zangezur, which is an important transport route between Europe and Asia, will significantly expand economic ties in the region," he emphasized.
