Shabnam Gasanova: The approach demonstrated by Putin showed that Azerbaijan's conditions have essentially already been accepted

The aviation disaster that occurred recently deeply shocked the public of Azerbaijan. That is why, as Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences, political scientist Shabnam Hasanova noted in a comment for BAKU.WS, Baku justifiably put forward four key conditions before Russia.

According to the expert, the results of the meeting in Dushanbe and the rhetoric employed by Russian President Vladimir Putin demonstrated that Moscow has essentially already accepted Azerbaijan's position.

"The President of Russia also emphasized that even during the first telephone conversation he expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims," Hasanova reminded. "He once again confirmed his readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in investigating the tragedy. Thus, it can be said that precisely the course towards overcoming negative trends in bilateral relations is the most correct and constructive step."
