Presidential Aide: The Turkic world is turning into a new political reality and cooperation platform in Eurasia
The Caspian Sea serves as a means of trade for Azerbaijan and connects our country with Central Asia.
As reported by AZERTAJ, this was stated by the Presidential Assistant - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev during an online speech at the Trans-Caspian Forum.
He recalled that last year Azerbaijan was admitted as a full member of the Central Asian Consultative Meeting with the unanimous support and decision of the countries of the region:
"I metaphorically call this C5+1. Central Asia and Azerbaijan share historical, cultural, linguistic values and norms. Azerbaijan is also a strategic ally of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries of the region. The Organization of Turkic States provides yet another framework for this. Thanks to its young demographics, strategic energy and important mineral resources, and a strong economy, the Turkic world is transforming into a new political reality and a platform for cooperation on the vast Eurasian continent."
