President: We do not know of two other states in the world that would be as close to each other as Azerbaijan and Turkey

Turkey and Azerbaijan are two countries whose populations are closer to each other compared to the rest of the countries in the world. Just look at the level of cooperation, political, economic, energy and transport ties, as well as people-to-people relations.

As reported by BAKU.WS, President Ilham Aliyev stated this at the opening of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.

"We do not know of two other states in the world that would be so close to each other, so supportive of each other, and so friendly with each other. This is a tremendous treasure of our peoples, and together we are stronger," the head of state added.
