Today, economic growth in Azerbaijan has transformed into a long-term sustainable trend. In 2021-2024, growth in the non-oil sector averaged 6.7% per year and its share in the country's economy increased to 68%. Non-oil exports have almost doubled over the past six years, which is a clear indicator of our country's increasing competitiveness.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in the address of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum being held in Baku.

The head of state noted that all these achievements are supported by the creation of modern production infrastructure in the country: "Currently, we have nine industrial parks and four industrial quarters operating. 171 enterprises are registered in them, 98 of which have already started production activities. More than 6.9 billion manats have been invested in industrial zones, creating about 11 thousand permanent jobs."

The President of Azerbaijan emphasized that as a result of applying advanced ideas, public-private partnership mechanisms, and ongoing reforms, the private sector's share in the economy has remained at 81.4%. Sustainable economic development has improved the population's welfare and financially strengthened the country. In 2025, state budget revenues increased 2.4 times compared to 2017, strategic foreign exchange reserves increased 1.9 times, and the ratio of external state debt to gross domestic product, having decreased to 6.5%, became one of the lowest indicators in the world.
