The sphere of communication technologies has become a leading force in the non-oil economy of Azerbaijan, having achieved stable growth rates over the past four years.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAJ, this was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in his address to the participants of the World Telecommunication Development Conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).

The head of state emphasized that all this is accompanied by consistent measures taken in the field of artificial intelligence development, prevention of cyber attacks and expansion of digital infrastructure.
