The Azerbaijani state fully ensures the right of trade unions to independent and autonomous activities within the framework of legislation and has created broad opportunities for their free activities in this area.

As reported by AZERTAJ, this is stated in the address of President Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the VIII Congress of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan.

"Special attention should be paid to deepening effective cooperation between sectoral trade unions and social partners and forming an atmosphere of mutual trust, increasing collective responsibility," the head of state's address emphasizes.
