President of Slovakia: Visit to Azerbaijan will open new opportunities for cooperation

President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini views his visit to Azerbaijan as an opportunity to develop bilateral partnership and create new opportunities for Slovakia.

He announced this on social media platform X.

"Heading to Azerbaijan. Our countries have built strong relations. This visit is an opportunity to turn this trust into closer cooperation in the areas of energy, trade, and investment," he wrote.

Peter Pellegrini stated that during the visit he will hold a meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and other representatives of the country's leadership to further develop the partnership and create new opportunities for Slovakia.

It was previously reported that on July 13, President of Slovakia Peter Pellegrini will visit Azerbaijan on an official visit at the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev. The visit includes planned negotiations on the development of cooperation in the areas of energy, trade, transport, technology, and the participation of Slovak companies in reconstruction projects in the liberated territories. A Slovak-Azerbaijani business forum will also be held in Baku.
