President of IsDB: Azerbaijan Has Become an Ideal Platform for the Development of Trade and Investment

Azerbaijan's growing role as a link between regions and markets makes the country an ideal venue for hosting a forum dedicated to the development of trade, investment, and regional integration.

As Report informs, this was stated by the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, Muhammad Al Jasser, at the opening ceremony of the Private Sector Forum 2026, held as part of the Bank Group's annual meetings in Baku.

"First of all, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the government and people of Azerbaijan for their warm hospitality and the high level of organization of the 2026 Islamic Development Bank annual meetings. I also thank the Ministry of Economy for the invaluable partnership, close cooperation, and tireless efforts aimed at the successful holding of this business forum.

This forum is much more than just an annual event. It is a dynamic platform where dialogue transforms into concrete actions, ideas into investments, and partnerships move from intentions to practical implementation. Here, governments meet with market participants, entrepreneurs meet with financiers, and ambitions receive real opportunities for realization," the IsDB President emphasized.
