After establishing peace with Armenia, we are closely working on expanding the Middle Corridor, which also passes through the territory of Armenia.

As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at the opening ceremony of the XIII Global Baku Forum.

"For the first time in its independent history, Armenia can become a transit country. It is not one yet. Thanks to this, we will be able to establish direct communication between the main part of Azerbaijan and our exclave - the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic," the head of state added.
