There is not a single Russian soldier on the territory of Azerbaijan.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in an interview with "Al-Arabiya".
In response to the journalist's question "Are you not afraid of steps from Russia in the region that could stop what Azerbaijan is trying to do? I mean, geographically, regarding the corridor, etc." the head of the Azerbaijani state replied:
"They have a military base in Armenia with several thousand military personnel. At the same time, Armenia's borders with Iran and Turkey are guarded by Russian border guards. There is not a single Russian soldier on the territory of Azerbaijan. I don't know what might happen in Armenia. But I don't want to think about such a negative outcome".
