President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on labor pensions

Labor pensions will be indexed.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the corresponding order was signed by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

According to the order, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan is instructed to carry out indexation before January 1, 2026, in accordance with the annual growth rate of the average monthly nominal wage for 2025, determined by the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan as of January 1, 2026:

the insurance part of labor pensions assigned before January 1, 2026;

for pensioners who have been assigned supplements to their labor pension for length of service - the amount of the labor pension determined taking into account these supplements;

material assistance included in labor pensions from January 1, 2023 - in accordance with the annual consumer price index level;

pension capital amounts recorded in the insurance part of the individual personal account of insured persons before January 1, 2026.

In accordance with the order, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan is instructed to resolve issues arising from this order.

This order enters into force on January 1, 2026.
