President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin.
As reported by AZERTAG, the message states:
"Dear Mr. President,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and your entire people my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of the Swiss Confederation.
We attach great importance to the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Switzerland. I believe that we will continue to make joint efforts to strengthen interstate ties and cooperation in the interests of our peoples.
On this festive day, I wish you good health, success in your endeavors, and to your people — lasting well-being and prosperity."
