President Ilham Aliyev received the Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova
On March 6, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi.
As reported by BAKU.WS, thanking the head of state for the reception, Mihai Popșoi conveyed greetings from President of Moldova Maia Sandu to President Ilham Aliyev.
The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to Maia Sandu as well. President Ilham Aliyev fondly recalled his meetings and discussions with the head of state of Moldova within the framework of international organizations.
Mihai Popșoi stated that Moldova strongly condemns Iran's drone attacks on Azerbaijan and emphasized his solidarity with our country on this matter. He wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
Noting with satisfaction the friendly relations established between our peoples, the guest said that they always remember and highly appreciate Azerbaijan's support during difficult times for Moldova.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the demonstrated position.
During the conversation, it was noted with satisfaction that Azerbaijan and Moldova have always supported each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty, the development of bilateral relations was emphasized, including the deepening of cooperation in political, trade-economic, energy and other fields, and the role of mutual visits at various levels in expanding ties was discussed. Confidence was expressed that Mihai Popșoi's visit would be successful.
During the conversation, views were exchanged on cooperation within the framework of international organizations, intensification of political dialogue and other issues of mutual interest.
