President Ilham Aliyev received the delegation of the Croatian parliament

On October 8, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received a delegation headed by the Chairman of the Croatian Parliament Gordan Jandroković.
As reported by BAKU.WS, noting that this was his first visit to Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the Croatian Parliament said that he was deeply impressed by the beauty of the capital - Baku.
Gordan Jandroković congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on his activities and merits for the Azerbaijani state and people, as well as on the results achieved in Washington in advancing the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Noting the good level of relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia, Gordan Jandroković emphasized the availability of opportunities for further expansion of inter-parliamentary relations. Recalling that inter-parliamentary friendship groups operate in both countries, the guest touched upon the importance of cooperation not only between these groups, but also between various parliamentary committees.
Thanking for the congratulations, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that the agreements reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia are of historic significance.
The head of state expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Croatia.
It was emphasized that Croatia consistently supports the development of Azerbaijan's relations with the European Union and NATO.
At the meeting, it was noted that bilateral relations are developing on the basis of principles of friendship and partnership, the existence of extensive opportunities for cooperation in energy, investment, tourism and other areas was confirmed, and prospects for developing ties between our countries within the framework of international inter-parliamentary institutions were discussed.
