President Ilham Aliyev received the Chairman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria

On June 18, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Chairperson of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria Natalia Kiselova.
As reported by AZERTAG, President Ilham Aliyev said that relations between our countries are of a strategic nature, and noted the role of mutual visits at various levels and joint projects being implemented in expanding cooperation. Emphasizing the high level of political relations between the two countries, the head of state expressed satisfaction with active interaction in the energy sector in recent years.
The President of Azerbaijan touched upon the significance of Natalia Kiselova's participation in the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation in Baku, and expressed hope that the visit would be fruitful and create a good opportunity to discuss issues related to the bilateral agenda.
Thanking the head of state for the reception, the guest expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between our countries, and emphasized the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.
Recalling the restoration of the "Trapezitsa" Architectural and Museum Reserve in the Bulgarian city of Veliko Tarnovo with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Natalia Kiselova said that this was highly appreciated by the Bulgarian people, and expressed gratitude to the president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for implementing this project.
During the conversation, the significance of the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation held in Baku was touched upon, and the role of this event in expanding cooperation between the parliaments of the member states of the organization was emphasized. It was reported that the chairmanship of the Assembly passed from Azerbaijan to Bulgaria, and our country is chairing this organization at a high level.
At the meeting, successful cooperation and mutual support of our countries within the framework of international organizations were noted, and the existence of wide opportunities for further strengthening ties in trade, economic, energy spheres, including in the field of renewable energy, and other areas was emphasized.
