President Ilham Aliyev met with the Prime Minister of Qatar in Davos

On January 20, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met in Davos with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdel Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

As reported by AZERTAG, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdel Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani conveyed greetings from the Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the head of state.

Thanking for the greetings, President Ilham Aliyev asked to convey his greetings to the Emir of the State of Qatar.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the current level of bilateral relations, the existence of wide potential for developing cooperation in many areas, including in the trade and economic sphere, was emphasized, and confidence was expressed in the further strengthening of the close ties established between the two countries.

The successful cooperation of our countries in restoring Syria's power supply thanks to supplies of Azerbaijani gas to this country by SOCAR was noted.

During the conversation, an exchange of views took place on issues of mutual interest.
