President Ilham Aliyev met with the CEO of Vitol in Davos
On January 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met in Davos with Vitol CEO Russell Hardy.
As reported by BAKU.WS, during the conversation, information was provided about the oil strategy implemented in Azerbaijan, and the role of our country in ensuring Europe's energy security was discussed. In this context, it was emphasized that several European countries, including a number of European Union member states, are supplied with Azerbaijani gas.
At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on issues of cooperation between our country and this company.
It should be noted that Vitol, with its head office located in Rotterdam, is one of the world's leading oil trading companies. Founded in 1966, the Vitol Group is among the three largest global brokerage companies in crude oil trading.
