President Ilham Aliyev met with Oracle Corporation's Chief Executive Officer in Munich

On February 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met in Munich with the Executive Vice President of one of the world's largest software and cloud technology companies - Oracle Corporation, Mike Sicily.

As reported by AZERTAG, during the conversation, the policy of technological transformation and artificial intelligence development being implemented in the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev was discussed. In this context, mutual interest in expanding cooperation with Oracle Corporation was noted, and it was emphasized that a framework agreement regarding partnership prospects has already been reached.

Issues of long-term cooperation between Oracle and state and private enterprises in Azerbaijan in providing a range of services were discussed. There was also an exchange of views on the activities of three Oracle academies at various leading higher educational institutions of Azerbaijan.

The meeting also noted the high level of political ties between Azerbaijan and the United States. In this context, the significance of signing the "Charter on Strategic Partnership between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the United States of America" was emphasized. It was noted that in this document, the field of artificial intelligence is also reflected as one of the priority areas of cooperation between our countries.
