Italy has always supported the development of Azerbaijan's relations with the European Union, we feel this today as well.

As reported by AZERTAG, President Ilham Aliyev said this in a press statement with Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

Noting that recently positive steps have been taken in relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan, which naturally pleases us, the head of state emphasized: "In a word, our strategic partnership is manifested in official documents, in life, and in practical affairs."
