President Ilham Aliyev familiarized himself with the master plan of the city of Agdere

On January 13, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev reviewed the master plan of Agdere city.

As reported by AZERTAJ, the chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Anar Guliyev informed the head of state about the master plan of Agdere.

It was noted that according to the master plan, the settlement area of the city will be increased from 444 to 522 hectares. It is projected that the population of the city for the 20-year prospective period will be 14 thousand people. The conceptual scheme of the master plan includes the city center, individual residential areas, as well as residential areas with low population density, multifunctional and public-business zones. In addition, it is planned to create a terraced park in the city, a boulevard around the river, agritourism, industrial and logistics zones. Along with the master plan, detailed solutions have also been developed for the territory of Agdere city, which will be reconstructed in the first stage. It is planned that the area of the city's housing stock will be 420 thousand square meters. In addition, construction of an 80-bed hospital, five schools for 2,520 student places, five kindergartens for 840 places, and a vocational school is planned. The first stage envisions the development of the city center with an area of 104 hectares. By 2030, the city will be able to accommodate 3,590 people. The length of roads and streets here will be 46.8 km, and the length of bicycle paths - 10 km. As part of the project, architectural solutions for public and residential buildings have also been developed.

After reviewing the master plan, the head of state gave relevant instructions and directives.

In the city of Agdere, residential buildings for servicemen of the Ministry of Defense were also commissioned.

It was reported that in Agdere, repair and restoration work has been carried out in three buildings for servicemen of the Ministry of Defense. Of the 72 apartments in the four- and five-story buildings, eight are one-room, 36 are two-room, 24 are three-room, and 4 are four-room apartments. All conditions have been created here for the residence of servicemen and their family members, and the effective organization of their leisure time. The apartments are supplied with water, gas, electricity, internet, and equipped with furniture sets. Large-scale landscaping work has been carried out around the buildings, with green areas and recreation corners for residents.

It should be noted that today the Azerbaijani state is carrying out consistent work to improve the social and living conditions of the personnel of the national army. In recent years, in accordance with the instructions and directives of President Ilham Aliyev, important projects have been implemented to provide housing for servicemen. All this is a clear example of the great care that the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief shows for the personnel of the victorious army.
