President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

As reported by AZERTAJ, the message states:

"Your Majesty,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate You and, in Your person, all Your people on the occasion of the national holiday of Brunei Darussalam.

The current level of Azerbaijani-Bruneian relations, built on friendship and mutual respect, is gratifying. I believe that in the interests of our friendly peoples, we will continue our joint efforts aimed at strengthening interstate ties and further expanding bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Taking advantage of this pleasant opportunity, I cordially congratulate You and Your friendly people on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing You good health, happiness, success in Your endeavors, and Brunei Darussalam - lasting well-being and prosperity."
