President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the message states:
"Dear Serdar Gurbangulyevich,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and all your people on the national holiday of Turkmenistan - Independence Day.
Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are united by traditional friendship, good neighborliness and cooperation. I am confident that our bilateral relations will continue to develop and strengthen in accordance with the will of our brotherly peoples, closely connected to each other by common roots and national-spiritual values.
On this festive day, I wish you good health, happiness, success in your endeavors, and to the brotherly people of Turkmenistan - constant well-being and prosperity".
