President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the King of Bahrain

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

As reported by AZERTAG, the message states:

"Your Majesty,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I am pleased to extend to you and through you to all your people my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the national holiday of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The establishment of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Bahrain this year is a clear example of our bilateral relations moving to a new level, evidence of the importance we attach to developing bilateral relations with great potential in all areas.

I believe that in the interests of our peoples and countries, we will continue our joint efforts aimed at deepening the traditionally friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bahrain, built on mutual trust and respect.

On this significant day, I wish you good health, happiness, success in your highest state activities, and to the friendly people of Bahrain - constant well-being and prosperity".
