President Ilham Aliyev congratulated his Portuguese counterpart
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to his Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
As reported by AZERTAG, the message states:
"Dear Mr. President,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and through you to all your people my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday of the Portuguese Republic.
I believe that we will continue to make joint efforts to develop relations between Azerbaijan and Portugal in the spirit of friendship, continuing mutually beneficial cooperation in the interests of our two peoples.
On this wonderful day, I wish you good health, happiness, and constant prosperity to the friendly people of Portugal".
