President Ilham Aliyev congratulated his Lithuanian counterpart

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda on the occasion of the country's national holiday.

As AZERTAG reports, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I sincerely congratulate you and your people on the national holiday of the Republic of Lithuania.

Azerbaijan and Lithuania are bound by relations of friendship and cooperation. I believe that our joint efforts aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations based on good traditions and expanding interaction will continue to contribute to the well-being of our two peoples.

On this festive day, I wish you good health and success in your endeavors, and lasting peace and prosperity to the people of Lithuania."
