President Ilham Aliyev congratulated his Indonesian counterpart

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto.

As reported by AZERTAC, the message states:

"Dear Mr. President,

On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and, through you, to your friendly people my most sincere congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of August 17 - the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia.

At present, there are good opportunities for further expanding the scope of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Indonesia in a number of areas of mutual interest, particularly in the fields of economy, mutual investment, humanitarian affairs, and other areas.

I am confident that we will achieve the strengthening of Azerbaijani-Indonesian friendship and cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.
