President Ilham Aliyev congratulated his Filipino counterpart
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of the Philippines Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos on the occasion of the country's national holiday - Independence Day.
As Azertag reports, the message states:
"Dear Mr. President,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I extend to you and through you to your entire people the most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday – Independence Day of the Republic of the Philippines.
I believe that we will continue our joint efforts aimed at developing and expanding friendly relations and cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Philippines in the interests of both peoples.
On this wonderful day, I wish you good health, happiness, and to the friendly people of the Philippines – well-being and prosperity."
