President Ilham Aliyev called Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif

On August 10, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev called the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

As reported by BAKU,WS, during the telephone conversation, the visit of the Prime Minister of Pakistan to our country, the bilateral meeting held in Lachin, the trilateral meeting in the Azerbaijan-Turkey-Pakistan format, as well as his participation in the Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Khankendi were noted with satisfaction.

The significance of the documents signed during President Ilham Aliyev's visit to the USA was touched upon, particularly the declaration signed by the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia with the witness of the US President, and other documents, in terms of ensuring lasting peace, stability and prosperity in the region, and the special role of US President Donald Trump in achieving these results was noted.

Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance of the agreements reached and congratulated President Ilham Aliyev.

During the telephone conversation, views were exchanged on further expansion of bilateral ties in the economic, energy, trade and investment spheres.
