President Ilham Aliyev: Azerbaijan boldly continues independent policy under new realities

Today, the formation of a new geopolitical order in the name of a just world depends on consistent and purposeful activities of states, based on the principle of political responsibility. Countries can make a worthy contribution to this process by implementing effective cooperation based on mutual respect and trust, norms and principles of international law, responding to modern challenges.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this is stated in President Ilham Aliyev's address to the participants of the international conference on "New World Order: Geopolitical Aspects and Global Challenges".

"2025 is solemnly celebrated in our Republic as the 'Year of Constitution and Sovereignty'. Guided by national interests, Azerbaijan, in the context of new realities, boldly continues its independent policy, relying on its constitution, sovereign rights, and strives to become an active participant in the new world order in the name of peace, cooperation and sustainable development," the address emphasizes.
