President Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Brazil to Azerbaijan
On July 17, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federative Republic of Brazil to our country, Bernard Jorge Leopold de Garcia Klingl.
As reported by Azertag, the ambassador presented his credentials to the head of state.
President Ilham Aliyev had a conversation with the ambassador.
Expressing satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations, the head of state emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, and tourism spheres, as well as intensifying contacts at various levels.
President Ilham Aliyev wished the ambassador success in his activities and expressed hope that his work would contribute to the development of Azerbaijani-Brazilian relations.
Noting that it is a great honor for him to be appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan and to meet with the head of our state, Bernard Jorge Leopold de Garcia Klingl emphasized that the diplomatic relations between the two countries are at a high level.
The ambassador said that Azerbaijan and Brazil successfully cooperate in the sphere of COP as well.
Bernard Jorge Leopold de Garcia Klingl assured that as ambassador he would contribute to the expansion of bilateral relations.
At the meeting, the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and Brazil within the framework of international organizations was noted, and it was particularly emphasized that both states support multilateral diplomacy.
