The issue of urbanization, that is, the outflow of population from villages to cities, was also reflected in the discussions at the World Urban Forum recently held in Baku. This negative trend is characteristic not only of our country but of all countries.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev at a meeting dedicated to agricultural issues.
Noting that some countries cannot find opportunities to resolve this issue or cannot develop the right strategy, the head of state emphasized: "We must ensure that the process begins not of moving from villages to cities, but from cities to villages. For this, of course, the differences between village and city must be reduced in all areas."
