Azerbaijani-German cooperation on connectivity and transit opportunities is also of great importance, because German companies have achieved great success in this direction.

As reported by AZERTAC, this was stated by President Ilham Aliyev at a press conference with Federal Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz.

The head of state noted that Azerbaijan is improving its transport infrastructure and, being in a sense a full member of the Central Asia consultative format since last year, plays the role of a bridge between Central Asia and Europe. The President emphasized that this role will gradually increase.
