Another important outcome of the Washington summit was the opening of the Zangezur corridor.

As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during his speech at the 12th summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

"The Zangezur corridor is of great importance as a new transport artery and a second route both within the Middle Corridor and the North-South corridor," emphasized the head of state.
