Pilots of the Azerbaijan Air Force successfully completed combat missions in Turkey
In the city of Konya of the fraternal Republic of Turkey, the tasks of the next stage of the international search and rescue exercise Anatolian Phoenix - 2026 have been successfully completed.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
During the exercise, with the participation of Su-25 and F-16 aircraft, as well as T-70 helicopters, tactical tasks were carried out to achieve air superiority and provide air support for the search and rescue of crew members of an aircraft that crashed in a simulated enemy territory.
The high level of coordination in providing air support during the operation made it possible to minimize risks in the exercise area and ensure the increased effectiveness of rescue operations. The pilots of the Azerbaijani Air Force professionally accomplished the assigned tasks and demonstrated significant results in achieving the objectives of the exercise.
It should be noted that our country is represented in the international search and rescue exercise by Air Force pilots, parachute-airborne and search and rescue service specialists, forward air controllers, as well as technical personnel and aviation assets.
