Pashinyan: There are forces that want to destroy peace with Azerbaijan

On August 8, a peace declaration between Armenia and Azerbaijan was signed in Washington.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Armenian media, this was announced by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan during the government hour in parliament.
According to him, those who today downplay the significance of the agreement previously predicted a new round of war:
"77.6% of those who claim that Armenia and Azerbaijan only initialed a peace agreement, rather than signed it, stated in January, February, and March that a war would begin around August 8. But they preferred to forget about this," Pashinyan noted.
He emphasized that since 1994, the Karabakh settlement process has been ongoing, but until now there has never been a full-fledged document on the negotiating table, except for a draft declaration.
"Today, the text of the declaration has been signed. This is not part of many people's plans. There are forces that want to disrupt peace - both in Armenia and beyond its borders," added the head of government.
Recall that on August 8, the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a joint declaration in Washington, which was endorsed as a witness by US President Donald Trump.
