Pashinyan: The former leadership of Armenia should have explained the reason for rejecting decisions on the Karabakh settlement
The opposition during their time in power should have explained why they did not make decisions regarding the negotiation process on Karabakh.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Armenian media, this was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, commenting on the relevant documents recently made public by the republic's government.
"In case of a good proposal, the opposition (former leadership of Armenia) should have made a timely decision on the issue. If there was a good proposal but they did not decide on it, then they needed to answer to the people why they did not make these decisions. If it was a bad proposal, any subsequent proposal was worse than the previous one," Pashinyan noted during a government hour in parliament on Wednesday.
The Armenian government on December 2 published a number of documents available in state departments that relate to the negotiation process on the settlement of the former Karabakh conflict and provide an understanding of its content until 2020. The documents are published in Armenian, Russian, and English languages on the government website.
