Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hopes to visit Azerbaijan to participate in the European Political Community (EPC) summit in 2028.

As reported by Armenian media, he made this statement while speaking at the EPC summit in Yerevan.

"I hope I will have the opportunity to visit Azerbaijan in 2028 for the EPC summit. By the way, Armenia and Azerbaijan mutually supported each other's candidacies to host the summits," Pashinyan noted.

According to him, the EPC summits played an important role in facilitating contacts between the leadership of Armenia and Turkey.

"My first bilateral meeting with the President of Turkey took place precisely on the sidelines of the first EPC summit in Prague (in autumn 2022 - ed.). And now the Vice President of Turkey is here (in Yerevan - ed.) to participate in the EPC summit and has become the first Vice President of Turkey to visit Armenia," Pashinyan added.
