Pashinyan presented to Erdogan the results of negotiations in Washington

A telephone conversation took place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The Prime Minister presented to the President of Turkey the results of the negotiations held in Washington, the capital of the United States, on August 8, in particular, the initialing of the "Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan," the joint appeal to the OSCE on the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group mechanisms, the unblocking of regional communications within the framework of the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty and jurisdiction of countries and on the basis of reciprocity, as well as the project "Trump Road for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP)."
Pashinyan noted that the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan creates an opportunity for the formation of a new quality of regional cooperation.
Issues on the bilateral agenda of Armenian-Turkish relations were also discussed, in particular, the progress in implementing previously reached agreements. The Prime Minister noted that the atmosphere for implementing these agreements is now more favorable than ever. The interlocutors agreed to continue active political dialogue.
Recall that following the meeting held in Washington on August 8 between the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, US President Donald Trump, and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the leaders of the three countries signed a 7-point declaration.
