Pashinyan called on Armenians to prepare for peace with Azerbaijan
Citizens of Armenia should support the peace agenda in the upcoming parliamentary elections, as there is a chance for peace in the South Caucasus for the first time in many years. Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan called on Armenians to prepare for peace with Baku.
This is reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Armenian media.
"I am confident that the people of the Republic of Armenia will support what we have achieved to date. I have no doubt that the citizens of the Republic of Armenia will support the peace agenda and the peace process," said the head of government.
He also expressed confidence that the agreement with Azerbaijan is based on the principles of sovereignty and inviolability of internationally recognized borders:
"Armenia and Azerbaijan should have the opportunity to use each other's territory for transit."
